Unlimited Company – Sole Proprietorship or Partnership

An unlimited company is a simple structure for small business or some professional industry like lawyers and accountants with unlimited liability. The only requirement for registering an unlimited company is a registered business address and the owner’s identification document. Partnership agreement may be submitted if there are more than one owner of the firm. The registration could be done in 1-2 working days.

If the owner is a non-Hong Kong resident, he/she must appoint an authorised representative to run the business in Hong Kong and explain in details the operation to the Inland Revenue Department. The registration will be extended to at least 1 month.
